The Christmas season is a special time at University Baptist Church! During Advent, we cherish the beautiful music, warm fellowship, and above all, the hopeful message of Jesus’ birth. These themes are reflected in our worship and other gatherings. All are welcome to join in the activities of the season:

• Christmas Party and Caroling on December 5th at 6:00 p.m. is a time of celebration and fellowship. We will enjoy treats in the Welcome Center and sing both at church and at local apartment buildings to spread seasonal cheer. This year will also feature a chili cook-off and fun activities for all!

• Our Choir Concert on December 14th at 11:00 a.m. - this will be a combined service, as there is no 9:15 a.m. worship on 12/14! The Christmas Choir Concert is one of our most anticipated Sundays of the year for many, as the beauty of the music directs our hearts toward the glory and wonder of the incarnation of Jesus.

• The Children’s Pageant and Brunch on the 14th following worship is a fun gathering where our children lead us in remembering the story at the heart of Christmas. All are welcome to enjoy a great meal and this fun production.

• Christmas Eve service will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24th. This evening gathering is a worship service of nine lessons and carols, with wonderful music by our choir, readings, and candlelight singing as well.
