At UBC we believe strongly that faith development and community should be fostered throughout one’s entire life. We value our senior adults. Because of this, we intentionally provide both opportunities for seniors to study and connect with each other as well as opportunities to for them to build intergenerational relationships within the church. It’s amazing to see the way in which the senior adults at UBC serve our community, nurture relationships with children, youth, and college students in the church, and enliven our weekly worship experience!
We do periodically plan events specifically for senior adults. We have done the following: visited exhibits at art museums, toured historic churches and homes in our area, and attended plays together.
