Summer Book Study Part 2

Summer Book Study.png

This summer, UBC is again offering a monthly Book Study that will invite participants to look for spiritual themes in selected texts.
At our next meeting, we’ll discuss C. S. Lewis’s book, A Grief Observed. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 25th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Tom and Susan Harrington’s house. Weather permitting, the group will meet and grill out in their backyard, and participants will be asked to bring a side-dish to share.
Limited copies of this book will be made available in the church office about three weeks prior to the July 25th meeting (at a cost of $5 per book).
This study is open to all ages. Also, if you have some friends who have been coping with grief, especially with the loss of a loved one, please consider inviting them to attend. All are welcome!
Please add your name to the sign-up sheet that will soon be placed outside of the sanctuary if you plan to be a part of the July 25th discussion of A Grief Observed; or, let Tom ( or Susan ( know by email, so that they can make sure to have enough food for everyone!
